The Little Farm Laganas

The Little Farm Laganas Review

When we visit Zakynthos we like to make sure we travel around the whole island and don’t just stay in Argassi where our hotel is. We decided to visit The Little Farm Laganas one day and we’re so glad that we did. We both loved every aspect of the farm and couldn’t wait to share it with our readers.

We came across The Little Farm in Zakynthos while scrolling through Instagram one night. It looked amazing and we thought, why not? I’m so glad we did. The farm is in a quaint, smaller part of Laganas and is hidden away from the partying lifestyle that Laganas is known for. You wouldn’t even think it’s in Laganas considering how peaceful and tranquil it is.

I’m going to talk about The Little Farm (Laganas) a little more and cover everything that you can find there on your Zante holiday. One thing I love about The Little Farm is you’re supporting smaller businesses on the island and really putting back into their economy and not supporting huge chains!

I would also like to point out that The Little Farm Zante have NOT paid us for this post and we did pay full price for everything on our visit. We would encourage any influencers in any capacity to do the same.

Where Is The Little Farm Laganas?

The Little Farm is located on the outskirts of Laganas. Hidden away from the loud crowds and party animals who frequent the island. It’s like a hidden slice of paradise. You’ll be able to see amazing views from the top of the farm, spanning various parts of Zakynthos.

When it comes to how to get to The Little Farm Laganas I would suggest getting a taxi. They are fairly cheap, easy to use and the drivers know exactly where they’re going. We’ve never had a problem with taxi drivers in Zakynthos so as far as we can tell, you won’t have any worries.

Please find the address below for The Little Farm in Zakynthos and I hope you’re able to make it there and enjoy everything they have to offer. The Little Farm Laganas address is below.

How Much Is The Little Farm Laganas?

So you might be thinking that a farm or a zoo is expensive and you’d be right most of the time. Compared to prices in the UK you’re in for a huge bargain. The Little Farm Laganas only cost €6 per person which we both think is a really decent price. A family of four like us would cost you €24 which I think is well within most people’s budget.

You can pay for additional extras inside The Little Farm such as feed for the animals where €2 will give you enough to feed most of the animals in the enclosure. You can also buy merchandise which varies in cost and ice cream which we all decided to get on the way out.

The costs are low, they are within budget and yes you might be thinking is The Little Farm Zante cheap? The answer is a big yes! You can easily spend half a day here and hardly spend a penny. They also have various activities which you can take part in for as little as €2, like cleaning the tortoises!

What Animals Does The Little Farm Laganas Have?

More than we could handle that’s for sure! If you have a look at The Little Farm Instagram page you’ll see some photos of the different animals that live on the farm. However, here’s a little summary of what you can expect to find on the farm when you hopefully visit!

The Little Farm (Laganas) has a whole host of animals from ducks, the baby ones are great for eating out of your hand, try it! They have a Donkey, which tried eating my bag and my mum’s arm! Goats, bigger goats and when we visited they had two adorable baby goats who followed you around. They also have Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Horses, Geese, Chickens and the cutest baby and adult tortoise you’ll ever see in your life.

If there’s one thing I recommend doing it has to be holding one of The Little Farm tortoises. If you can hold a baby one you’re in luck. It’s an experience you’ll never forget, my little brother is 9 and he loved it so it’s perfect for children if they can be gentle.

Why Visit The Little Farm Zante?

There are loads of reasons why you should visit The Little Farm in Laganas. The farm is super cheap compared to other attractions on the island. There is so much to do you’ll be spending around 3 hours there. Plus if you happened to be looking for child friendly things to do in Zante, this is one of them.

I would also like to point out that the owners of the farm are fantastic and I had no issues with them at all. There were no judgments from them, we’re obviously a gay couple and get that reception from some places but The Little Farm Laganas is inclusive for everyone.

I (Louis) got stung by a hornet in the side of his stomach. The owner helped out, put something on it to stop the pain and make sure it wasn’t going to get infected and handled the situation really well. That’s customer service you don’t get in most places so you’ll be in safe hands at The Little Farm Zakynthos.
