We’ve been to Zante a few times now and we’re always on the lookout for the best places to eat in Zante. If you’ve followed us for a while now you may have seen the post we did on the best restaurants in Argassi and although we love Argassi there are other places in Zakynthos for dinner.
I’ve decided to put together a list of our favourite places to eat in Zakynthos so that you can get some inspiration. I’m going to be showing places where you can have dinner in Zante because everyone loves a decent restaurant right? Most will be in Argassi because it’s where we stay the most and love to go out and eat but there are a few Zakynthos restaurants that aren’t in Argassi.
I’m going to start with our favourite Zante restaurants and work my way down the list. So if you just put, where can I have dinner in Zakynthos? Into google, you’ve come to the right place!
Sizzlebang House Laganas
After visiting The Little Farm we decided it was imperative that we found somewhere nice to eat. We asked on Facebook the night before for recommendations for restaurants and Sizzlebang House was recommended by a few people so we decided to try it out.
I would easily give this place 5 stars for various reasons. The customer service was great, some of the best on the entire island. They had no problem booking us a taxi at the end of our meal which was super helpful and really helped us out. Most importantly the food was amazing, affordable and tasted great.
If you’re looking for a cheap restaurant in Zante, Sizzlebang House has you covered! I would quite happily visit again when we’re on the island and can’t wait until our next meal there. I would suggest you try the Sizzlebang pizza if you’re a pizza lover and want something with a yummy twist, it’s huge, cheap and super delicious!
Peppermint Argassi
Peppermint in Argassi is one of our favourite places to eat in Zakynthos. It’s not for everyone though, if you’re on a budget then this might be a place you pass on. It would be an amazing place to propose as well, we’re already married but maybe I’ll do it again? I can say the customer service is amazing and they are always friendly when we visit.
The food is nice, it’s one of Matts’s favourite places to eat and it’s very posh. If you’ve checked out our post on the best restaurants in Argassi you’ll know it’s worth the visit. Myself, I would give this place a glowing 4 stars, and Matt would give it a little more at 4.5 stars. It’s worth a visit, treat yourself.
Zorbas Argassi
If you’re looking for a great restaurant in Zante I’d suggest visiting Zorbas in Argassi. The food is superb, some of the best we’ve eaten on the whole island. The food is reasonably priced and they don’t lack in regards to quality either. It’s a perfect spot for lunch or dinner and you won’t be out of pocket because there’s nothing worse than spending money on bad food.
This is one of our by far favourite Zante restaurants and we visit there every time we stay in Zante. Over the past four visits to the island, they have only gotten better and that’s saying something when other restaurants have slipped in quality, service and food in the area. Take our word for it, visit Zorbas!
Zante Restaurants
I’m always on the lookout for new Zante restaurants so if you know any I need to try, let us know! We’re always looking for restaurants outside of Argassi as well. We stay in Argassi when we visit and that’s why most of the restaurants on our list are in Argassi.
If you’re looking for Zakynthos restaurants that aren’t in Argassi, you really should take a look at the Sizzle Bang House restaurant in Laganas, it’s one that we will be visiting again soon that’s for sure!
